pitched six no-hitters and 11 one-hitters. during her scholastic career, she pitched in 338.2 innings while striking out 440 and posting a 0.41 earned run average. was team's MVP for three straight seasons and Salina's Offensive Player of the Year three times. first team all-classes in 2002 and second team in 2003. first team all-Kansas in junior and senior seasons. her high school team was Class 5A runnerup in 20. she was 44-4 in her scholastic career and this spring guided her high school team to the Kansas Class 5A state champion. Nordstrom is a four-year letterwinner from Salina South High School in Salina, Kansas. Colgate University head softball coach Vickie Sax has announced that four high school seniors have decided to attend the University in the fall of 2003 and play for the Patriot League champions.
